In this course you will learn:

- Basic nutrition as it affects your health and well being.
- How to prepare a variety of recipes to help you understand the different food preparation procedures.
- How to work together in a group and to organize yourself to work efficiently.
- How to get the work done within the required time given.
You will need:
- A 3-ring binder, your agenda, pen & pencil, and lined paper.
- A clean apron, a tie or elastic to hold long hair back.
- A page protector for holding recipes.
